I was not able to make the reunion, but I have really enjoyed notes and pictures on-line.  We did have such a great school, didn't we?  I remember that I cried when we graduated - I didn't want to leave!!  I've had 50 years of wonderful blessings, and also some very hard ones as I'm sure we all have.  I don't feel 68- life is good!! God bless you all !!

Hi All! I'm not big on reunions but my friend Barb Frank (Frishberg) would never forgive me if I didn't come to the 50th so...I'll be there. Actually as we approach August 4th (2days away) and I looked at who will be there I am really looking forward to the evening. On Friday we are having a Randolph Heights reunion which should be awesome!! I can't believe we have some of our teachers coming. They must have been 10 years old when they we were teaching us (which does explain a whole lot!) Some of you I have not seen since graduation so please wear your name tag. On a personal note I am still working and will probably never retire. I have a true passion for my vocation so why ever retire. By degree I am an attorney but have been doing arbitration and mediation for the last 15 years in the areas of personal injury and wrongful death claims.
I still live in Edina but visit our home in Naples weekly in the winter and monthly the rest of the year. If any of you live in the Naples area please let me know.
I am married to Diane, we have 3 children (2 sons here and 1 son in the Bay area) ; I have 3 grandchildren now and will have 2 more by way of twins in November. For the rest of my "story" you will have to talk to me Saturday night!

After graduation

Left town quick  as I could  /  To start a new life without the old wood

Stopped in Madison for a change and a degree  /  Fun… but not the place         where I discovered me.

New York City next… it was  the end  / felt like the place for me to begin

Settled for jobs of boring ennui  /  And somehow began to see

who and where I wanted to be

Then I said stop, with nowhere to go  /  Turned in, dropped out watched

         the Technicolor show

The sights were delicious the road was grand  /  finally became the emancipated man.

Fled to California for a fortnight stand /   my lady in tow and  we got high

Next thing I knew… we married on Mt. Tamalpi

Started a new scene: married life  /  10 years a pair w/ great joy, some strife

over  time 3 kids did come and then the wife bid adieu

A rude awakening for sure, but I started anew

Found new circles, swam & ran races, met the great and famous

In music, art, science, those in high places

And home every night with my own progeny

The place most comfortable where I wanted to be

Then they graduated college, went out on their own

married and families, in far away homes

Me, I met a great friend who became my wife

A warm, bright chapter continues my life

I still travel and race though now at the end of the pack

And other than good health, little that I lack

So I sit at my window staring out at space

Knowing the Man above has shown me His good grace

Or simply put: what a long strange trip it’s been

Hi Everyone,  How wonderful to catch up and read about old friends!  I do hope to see you guys there and want to thank the committee for such an impressive job. I come to MN a couple times a year to see family and am always amazed at how peaceful St.Paul looks -- and how Central remains such a fortress.  After an academic career (cultural anthropolocy) in Massachusetts, I am now a health administrator for the state of North Carolina overseeing consumer rights and advocacy for people with disabilities.  Living in Raleigh, happily married with one 28 year old daughter, I hope the weekend is tons of fun.  Regards

Greetings class of 1962.  As we have been planning this 50th reunion I realized how fast those 50 years went by.  I have made a concerted effort to reconnect with old friends that I had not seen in many years and what a hoot it has been.  I hope everyone who can possibly make it to our reunion comes and "reconnects". It s/b a blast!!!

Greetings CHS class of “62.   As I reflect now on my years at Central, I recall with fondness what exciting, wonderful and innocent times they were.     Those times were the source of some extraordinary and lasting memories.   More importantly, they were the source of many friendships which have survived the test of time..    My only regret is that I did not seize the opportunity get to know more you.

What a great, informative reunion website. Thanks to all of you working to make this a fantastic 50th. It is hard to believe 50 years have passed so quickly.
Those to whom much is given, much is expected...we're not done yet...but, we better hurry, we may not get another 50.

Our committee is working hard, having fun and laughs to make this a very special event for all.  We will make sure you recognize your classmates of 50 years ago.  All 15 of us recognized each other immediately.  Can't wait to see you next Aug 3-5th.

I would like to be there. I moved to California in 1968 so I have not really kept up with classmates. I hope we all recognize each other!?! I, of course, have not aged a day!
